QuotiX Privacy Policy
QuotiX and its subsidiaries respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. QuotiX provides this Privacy Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected online and how that information is used. We've structured our websites so that, in general, you can visit QuotiX on the Web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. We make this notice readily available on our home page and at the bottom of every QuotiX Web page. Some QuotiX Web pages are P3P enabled, which allows you additional control over your personal information.
About P3P
The Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) is a new privacy technology developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). P3P technology can be found within your web browser and provides you with the ability to make more informed choices about the use of your personal information online. Enabling certain areas of our site with this new technology is another way that QuotiX is on the leading edge of protecting your privacy.
A P3P-enabled browser has preset options from which you can choose. Or you may customize your setting by answering questions such as, what kinds of data are you willing to share and what types of "cookie" files are you willing to accept. As you surf the Web, the software then determines whether your privacy preferences match a site's data collection practices.
The P3P-enabled browser places special emphasis on cookies. A cookie is a piece of text which resides on your computer's hard drive to allow a Web application to respond to you as an individual. By gathering and remembering information about your preferences, the Web application can tailor its operation to your needs, likes and dislikes. With a P3P-enabled browser, you can make selections based on whether you wish to accept various types of cookies such as session (temporary), permanent, within a given domain or outside it (third party), and with or without a special "P3P compact policy" file. A compact P3P policy describes the attributes of a given cookie.
At QuotiX, for example, we offer one cookie called "QuotiXlogin." It is a permanent cookie designed to give those customers who choose to register with QuotiX a personalized experience, including a greeting and remembering your username. Clients can browse with cookies turned off.

This Privacy Statement applies to all QuotiX -owned websites and domains, and our wholly owned subsidiaries ("QuotiX websites.") This statement is not applicable to CBS Market Watch, which maintains its own privacy statement.

1 A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. For example, http://quotixfinancial.com is the URL for QuotiX's home page.
2 An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network, such as the World Wide Web. Networks use the TCP/IP protocol to route information based on the IP address of the destination. In other words, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web, allowing Web servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Internet, browse and shop.
